Reissner, Stellmacher & Kessel was founded in 1892 in Czech village Cieplice. Co-workers Hans and Carl Reissner, Edward Stellmacher and Rudolf Kessel took over factory of Alfred Stellmacher. Their products were characterized by unique style and unusual ceramic glazes. In 1893 they showed their articles at the World Exhibition in Chicago, where it was awarded with first prize. Since 1905, when Stellmacher left the company, it existed as Reissner&Kessel Amphora. Initially they produced porcelain in Secession manner, then in Art Deco to year 1945, when factory was nationalized.
