Maciej Nehring (Warsaw 1901 - 1977 Warsaw) - a painter and graphic artist. Master of watercolors. From 1920, he studied at the Municipal School of Drawing in Warsaw, later he studied in the School States of the Artistic Industry in Bydgoszcz (1923-1923) and in Krakow (1923-1924) and at the School of Fine Arts in Warsaw (1924-1928). He painted mainly landscapes and female portraits. In 1934 he was awarded the second prize at the exhibition "The Most Beautiful Woman's Portrait" in Warsaw. He paninted many views of Belweder, Płock, Kazimierz, Tunisia, France, Italy, Croatia and a lot of mountain, especially the Tatra Mountains.
