Mantel clock, signed on the shield: "Johann Vellauer in Wienn".
The construction made of gilded wood, decorated in the empire manner, with elements of French weapons from the early nineteenth century. A Viennese-type mechanism, hours and quarters, with a gong.

Johann Vellauer became a master craftsman in 1738 and he worked as a watchmaker until 1780. Vellauer made clocks, mantel, table and travel clocks. His son with the same name (1748-1819) also worked as a watchmaker in Vienna.
