Figure made of underglazed painted porcelain, signed Meissen and by the artist "O.Pilz". races of repairs on the horns and ears of animals.
Measurements: 38x20x25 cm.
Otto Pilz (Sonneberg 1840 - 1934 Dresden) - sculptor of animals working in Dresden. He studied in Kunstgewerbe School and at Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin under the supervision of Begas, Breuer and Eberlein. In years 1905-1912 he designed figures for Meissen manufactory.
