The porcelain factory of Alexander Popow was one of the leading places among Russia's private enterprises producing porcelain in the first half of the 19th century. The artistic level of the products is comparable to the famous products of Gardner, the Korniłowski brothers and the Imperator's Porcelain Factory. The factory produced high quality products such as tableware, tea services, vases, inkwells, figurines, animal figures and other decorative items.
