Deffner factory was founded in 1815 in Esslingen, in southern part of Germany. Its founder was Carl Christian Ulrich Deffner, company existed till 1969. During World War II dynamically operating enterprise employed around 500 people. Carl Deffner (1856-1948) took over the factory after his father Wilhelm in 1900. It was one of the biggest factory of metal products in Germany.
